While all the classes are available to youths, age 12 plus, the Step Plus classes can be a difficult starter class. Youths can more easily nurture their exercise habits in the Conditioning classes.
Your child is free to quietly leave any class at anytime.
Group Exercise Class Descriptions

Aerobics A throw back to the 80’s, this zesty class is full of low/high impact drills that energize. Very aerobic and easy to follow, it’s fun, intense and freeing. Beg/Inter/Adv
Core Focus An updated approach to core exercises for sports and conditioning, this class has crunches, roll-ups, stability, compression, and movement exercises designed to tone the torso and improve motion. Beg/inter/Adv
Karate Self-Defense Martial Arts are excellent for character confidence and physical conditioning; footwork, agility, balance, flexibility, and mental focus. Grounded in form and function, the instructor presents Karate and self-defense in an interesting and challenging fitness format. Adult and Kids (age 10 and older) Beg/Inter
Kickboxing An energetic workout full of punches, kicks and general conditioning: This class is fun. Beg/Inter/Adv
Lifetime Yoga The gentle and cautious practice of strength, flexibility and balance rehabilitates the body and trains awareness. Tapping into the breath, we can overcome debilitating habits and resolve to live through the pain of injury, illness, and aging. We will cultivate intuition, confidence, and trust. Beg/Inter/Adv
Muscle Conditioning The focus of these classes is on total body conditioning using creative and diverse class formats. Our instructors
Sport Conditioning may use step, free weight, body mass, medicine and stability balls, tubing, foam rollers, jump ropes, and Open Format high/low impact aerobic combinations. The variety is terrific and the exercises are easy to follow.
Step Plus We leave the intensity to you. A safe learning space, new comers will feel welcome. Beg/inter/Adv
Pilates Pilates uses total body exercises to focus on core stability and mobility. These exercises improve balance, coordination, mental focus, concentration, alignment, and body awareness: A cautious participant will find this class excellent for rehabilitation. Inter/Adv (Beg. are welcome to modify)
Power Vinyasa Yoga An advanced yoga class that flows through strength, balance and flexibility poses in a continuous manner healing the body, restoring vigor and creating inner peace. Inter/Adv
Water Exercise Moving through water will delight you. Water motion allows for many actions that are similar to yoga poses and rehabilitation therapy. It’s also a great workout for the heart and respiratory system. Beg/Inter/Adv
Yoga, Hatha Yoga, one of the oldest physical disciplines known to man, encourages members to focus on their mind, physical wellness and attitude. These postures and breathing exercises will change your life. Beg/Inter/Adv
Yoga-Pilates Yoga and Pilates are complimentary practices that both soften and strengthen the body. A thoughtful, intense, yet relaxing workout: This class promotes self-discovery while being non-competitive. Beg/inter/adv
Yoga Journey A renewing class that engages evolving viewpoints through breath, awareness, movement and postures. Struggling attitudes and intentions are lightened: A class about our wondrous life and how to maintain the joy of living through pain and discomfort. Beg/inter/adv
Zumba Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations. It incorporates salsa, meringue, cumbia, flamenco, hip hop, belly dancing & more. Zumba is not only the body but it is also great for the mind. Beg/ Inter/ Adv
