TPC Houston’s roots run deep in professional golf history. Founded in the early 1980s as the official home of the LPGA, the Club quickly earned national acclaim. Two LPGA Hall of Fame Classics — won by Nancy Lopez and Amy Alcott — were held here.
Crafted initially by architect Roger Packard, the first nine holes opened in 1982 and golf has continued to evolve and improve with the game. Today, that legacy lives on in two courses that test skill and strategy, with the friendly spirit of a welcoming Club.
The Club Experience You’ve Been Waiting For
Multi-million-dollar improvements continue to elevate every corner of TPC Houston — although the true transformation lies in the energy felt throughout the Club, and the camaraderie that defines our community.
The Clubhouse has been thoughtfully updated to create a more modern and inviting environment for dining, events, and everyday member use, with design inspiration drawn from luxury hospitality venues.
Our 18-hole Pecan and Cypress courses have been upgraded to improve playability and aesthetic appeal. Highlights include rebuilt bunkers, resurfaced greens, and improved turf quality in key areas. Sightlines and general course conditions improvements and enhancements will be ongoing.
In response to growing member interest, the Club is expanding its racquet sports offerings. Updates to the tennis complex are complemented by the addition of dedicated pickleball courts, to meet the demand for both casual and competitive play.
Enhancements across the Club’s recreational amenities include updates to indoor fitness studios, our full-size basketball court, and the aquatics complex. These improvements add to a dynamic, family-friendly, and active lifestyle.
Work from the Club or simply check email, take calls or hold video sessions — even host meetings at our dedicated new third-floor facility. High-speed wireless, printing services, and coffee are complimentary, and conference rooms and private office are available!
