Jay retired a few years ago from the position of Group Vice President and Corporate Development Officer of Asia Pacific, Johnson Controls.


Prior to joining Johnson Controls, Jay served as Corporate Vice President and Asia Pacific executive leadership roles for major global companies such as Eaton Corporation, GE Hydro, Visteon Corporation, as well as portfolio companies under the Blackstone Group. 


He has serviced on the Board of Directors of public listed companies and on the advisory board of United Way in Asia.


Jay holds a B.S. in Engineering Mechanics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a M.S. in Fluid Mechanics from the University of Minnesota and a MBA from St. Thomas University in Minnesota. 



  1. By running for this position on the advisory board, Jay wish to provide an enhanced voice of the general members, especially the senior members


  1. If elected, Jay wish to help facilitate more engaged two way communications between the club management and the members. Providing suggestions to optimize club investment and services are also top priorities.


With 30+ years of experience in providing effective leadership in the multi-culture environment for corporations and non-profit organizations, Jay could bring the diversity and balance in helping the club achieving its ultimate goals.
